Goondiwindi trainer Mick Hicks is having second thoughts about starting his crack colt Murphy's Blu Boy against the older horses in the $25,000 Kirby Quality Handicap at Grafton on Thursday after the rising three-year-old received 55.5 kilograms for the event.
